FLOW (Flowboarding League Of the World) has selected Ogden, Utah to host the prestigious fourth annual World Flowboarding Championships – FlowRider®, held on October 12th and 13th, 2012. The best flowboarders from around the world will convene at FlowRider Utah, located at the Salomon Center, for the largest FlowRider Championship event of the year.
Top competitors from around the world including Europe, South Africa, Asia and U.S.A. will travel to Ogden, Utah to compete for the world title this fall. The competition is a must-attend event with high-level action attracting the best flowboarders and bodyboarders on the planet. Competitors will battle for the top title in Junior Flowboard and Bodyboard, Female Flowboard, and Pro Flowboard and Bodyboard divisions. As this is the first time an event of this stature is being held on American soil, the organizers encourage the community to mark their calendars and head down to the Salomon Center this October.
“Over the past few years flowboarding has experienced phenomenal growth, pushing the sport to new heights. We are looking forward to seeing the exceptional international talent in Ogden this year,” said Shaun Hancock, manager of FlowRider Utah.
Utah was also chosen to host one of the prime locations on the U.S.A. National FLOW Tour this July.
