On March 12th, 2010, history came to Albuquerque, New Mexico in the form of a FlowRider® Double. Installed by our North American partner, ADG, the FlowRider was part of a renovation at the hotel that included slides and expanded pools, play areas and a lazy river. Not only has the Radisson helped with the economic times by providing 60 new jobs, but they have brought the art and sport of FlowRiding to the state of New Mexico for the first time.
During the training, Rob Chalfant (Wave Loch’s Global Merchandising Manager and training partner for domestic installations) said “the attitude of the group at the Radisson was unbelievable. We did a special event for friends and family and the new riders were a little hesitant to get on the ride at the beginning, but by the end of the night everyone had given it at try and everyone got a chance to enjoy the FlowRider. The training was exceptional with the newly hired staff and the Lifeguards were ripping it up by the time I left.”
It will only be a matter of time before Wave Loch’s Summer FLOW Tour is making a stop for some Rad riding at the Radisson!!
