Waterpark Opens Saturday in Jurupa Valley

On Saturday, May 28, Riverside County is celebrating the start of summer with a splash by opening The Cove Waterpark – Jurupa Aquatic Center. The Grand Opening ceremony is taking place Saturday and normal operations commence Sunday, May 29. The waterpark is located at 4310 Camino Real, Riverside, CA 92509.

The Cove Waterpark – Jurupa Aquatic Center is a new state-of-the-art aquatic complex in Jurupa Valley and is this summer’s must-see destination. The aquatic center complex offers a beautiful 11,000 square foot building, full service concession by the Backyard Grille, lockers and showers in the restrooms, and a multi-purpose room for birthday parties and other events. The waterpark features Riptide Reef, a Flowrider ®wave machine that allows riders to body board or surf miles from the beach; Lil’mates Lagoon, a pirate-themed splash playground for kids; Ne’er Endin’ River, a continuous river with pools, and bridges; and the Crow’s Nest, a slippery slide tower featuring three exciting slides to choose from. In addition, the park features a 25 yard x 35 meter competition pool with both 1 and 3 meter diving boards, and the terraced lawn area has covered picnic facilities.

Planned to meet the aquatic needs of the entire community, The Cove Waterpark will operate through the summer and into October. The competition pool, home of the Patriot High School Warrior Swim Team, will be open year-round and will offer swim lessons, recreation swimming and lap swimming.
